Winghaven Park - A Musical Play
Logline / Synopsis
Washington State, USA. 1944.
When Vera Webster, a Hollywood actress, visits her hometown to promote patriotism and raise money for the nation's war effort, her sister and her ex-sweetheart are not happy to see her. As frustrated passions bubble up - and the town goes to war over the treatment of local Japanese farmers - Vera confronts a long buried secret and, ultimately, must decide to which town she truly belongs.

Production History
A sold out workshop performance in 2022 directed by award-winning director, Kelly Kitchens, and produced by Drama Dock Theatre Co. inspired investors and further development, including a 2023 New York workshop featuring Broadway stars, Corbin Bleu (The Great Gatsby, West End; High School Musical, TV) and Alexandra Socha (Wicked, Broadway).​

The show received standing ovations from a ticket paying audience during its UK workshop presentation in London's West End at the Actors' Church, Covent Garden, with an ensemble cast, featuring West End stars: Olivier nominee Jamie Muscato (The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge!), four-time Olivier nominee, Summer Strallen (Love Never Dies, Top Hat) Victoria Hamilton-Barrit (Hex, National Theatre), Maisie Mardle (Matilda, West End) with musical direction and orchestrations by Paul Schofield, choreography by George Lyons, stage direction by Gabriel Barre (Here You Come Again, UK Tour), and casting by Harry Blumenau (harryblumenau.com).

Lisa's work as a writer and performer has featured in concerts, radio, recordings, TV, and theatre across North America, the UK, and Europe. After professional training in Musical Theatre and Acting at Mountview Theatre Academy (London) and later earning an M.A. in Performance Studies from King’s College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Lisa studied playwriting with playwright Stephen Jeffreys.​ Lisa's professional memberships include British Actor’s Equity, BMI (songwriter-lyricist), and The Dramatists Guild of America.​
